I've got a couple of "pedestrian quality" Greenfield HSS spiral point taps in 3/4-10, but this is the first spiral flute one for blind holes. I have hand taps, but I haven't used one in years because they seem to break or at least chip so easily.
In smaller sizes, the common 10-24, 1/4-20 & 5/16-18 (and in UNF versions) I have some Greenfield high helix spiral flute taps, but I've seen those break easily too. Once you get your hands on a super high quality, high performance tap like these you learn the difference and they DO NOT break unless you're careless or a complete hack.
