We are both new to this type of shooting, but from what we've read, both cartridges do well at up to 1000 yards. I can't even see that far, so I doubt I'll be shooting at that range.

A nice beefy bolt that stays solid even when fully open.

The cartridge is nearly full of powder. Guess it needs to be to get that 165 grain projectile to 3300 fps.
