Well as Ken has alluded to, I picked up some tooling whilst I was in the US last month. In particular, his comments relate to the tooling gifted to me by Russ (wrustle). I need to preface this post by saying that I had never actually met Russ before and his generosity has (quite honestly) baffled me. He told me I am doing him a favour and I could never thank him enough for this:
Everything you see on that blue towel Russ gave to me. There are lathe tool holders, drills, spiral point taps, 1-3/8" down to 3/16" end mills. Those on the right are solid carbide. The big ball end mill is 3/4" and the largest drill is a whisker under 1". I've shared some of this with my friend and I'm actually looking to see if I can mill down the parting tool block to suit his lathe.
Russ - I cannot thank you enough
