Spent the afternoon repairing parts for a hay bailer. Something else broke they repaired that but it was out of time and bent the needles that bring the twine around the end of the bail or something like that. Big bailer makes 4 x 4 x 8 foot bails.
New needles were $600 each and it ate 4. Got him to order one for a pattern, then made this jig to locate the end and give the shape. I cut sections out of one to fill in the bent part of the 3 others.
Now what to charge, my normal rate suddenly seams low when I saved him $1800
