5C Collet Chuck

I have collet chucks and MT3 collets that fit both my lathes, but the 5Cs have the advantage of allowing long stock to reach back into the spindle, plus letting you use a collet stop for multiple copies of a part. It would take time to true up five consecutive parts in a four-jaw, especially if you needed to have them sticking out exactly the same amount.

How's that for a tool junky's justification?
