I can't say I have ever seen a BSA rifle or shotgun that wasn't marked as to the maker, and I've been a shooter for over half a century. Are there any Proof Marks on the barrels or the water table? If so then you at least have a probable country of origin. Then you can take it from there. Proof marks for various European countries can be found by Googling the same for a web search or photograph them so they are clear and post them here for an opinion.
