1905 Marlin '94 needs help.
#22
I glass beaded the rust off the inside and outside of the receiver and i can't believe how smooth the old action works. I put a small radius on the point of the cam on the lever and there wasn't a matching groove in the carrier like i have been reading about so i don't think this old girl has been shot much in the last 109 years. I need to fit the new bolt carrier as the old one is in the pics. I am going to give the receiver a full metal sanding to make it smooth for bluing. Still waiting for my barrel blank to come. I have some vacation next week so i can fit the blank to it...Bob
