Why not. At least the dog liked the taste.
Mixed 1 part molasses to 10 parts water, its slow as the proverbial molasses, takes 2 to 4 weeks but the posted results looked good, probably more applicable to sheet metal where you don't want to damage the tin, a wire brush would have been fine here. Hey its a science experiment.
