So after getting it home and setting it all up, cleaning and polishing it and just looking at it for a few days I thought it was time to play.
After a few months (I'm a slow learner
) and trying to understand what was happening, eventually I felt comfortable to do something with it.
Milled a few pieces of aluminium - not using the cnc, cranking the handles by hand (I wasn't that comfortable with it yet).
Then there was this programme call EMC2 all this did was to translate the Gcode into machine movement. Boy oh boy oh boy I just could just get to grips with EMC2 so I changed to Mach3 and things started to look up. Mach3 and EMC2 both do the same thing, it's strange one seems easier to learn than the other.
I really wanted to make something but not sure what.
