Harrison L5 lathe rebuild

Tom , I just decided that the lathe would see me out if I did the whole thing really but it had droning rythmic type noise, that I think was some chipped teeth on two gears which have been replaced and it was a T*** to change speeds because of burred edges to teeth from school kids trying to change speed while it was running i think, I have replaced all the spindle bearings , these were in no way knackered but were slightly marked so did them, the gear shaft bearings were all spot on so just changed the oil seals. The motor bearings were also noisy but I am fitting 3 phase motor with inverter so hopefully it will be much more quiet now
