The pics are all done and the mill back together again!Big Grin

Just need to find some time to sort through all the pictures and do the write up...Ouch

Some things i did not take pictures of though...
The x axis leadscrew nut had some serious amounts of backlash.
What i decided to do was line the inside of the nut with JB Weld and lube up the lead screw. Screw it all together and let it set.

Worked like a charm!!!
Backlash is down from around 15 thou to about 1/2 a thou!!
Will have to see how long it lasts and may end up making a new one at some point.

My VFD has arrived so i need to get that all hooked up and mounted!!
The the acid test of how it runs!

Hopefully get the write up done soon!
