I don't see anything of consquence missing there, Darren.
When I had one of those kits (bought new), it was the swivel on top that I busted twice. It wouldn't tighten up enough to be reliable, and trying to get it tighter just blew it apart. I bought the third one and sold the set. It's not a bad indicator, millions of them are in use. It's just not for the ham-fisted guys like me.
