A few more pictures of the modified tools
A block of steel has been bolted to 2 of them so the tool post gets a good hold
The pics explain it all

The third one is welded in to a holder .This was done before i was shown how to soften them for machining it works fine.
I will drill and tap the other end of the holder to take a small tool.
