Exactly. Call customer service and complain Tom. Tell them you want a full refund for any costs over and above what was quoted to you originally. Ask for a supervisor if you get any resistance to your request.
I went through a similar problem when Enco shipped my mill to me. The cost of shipping was no charge, but I had to pay an additional $60 to get a lift gate delivery because I don't own a fork lift. The mill arrived in a standard 40 foot tractor-trailer with no lift gate.
I told the driver I paid for a lift gate delivery and he called the terminal dispatcher. The dispatcher in turn called Enco and chewed them a new one for not relaying that information. Finally Enco authorized a local towing company to come out with a wrecker and unload the mill from the trailer and set it in my driveway.
Don't take no for an answer. They won't like it, but they will do it (in most cases) as I have dealt with their customer service over problems a few times now. So far they have given in every time, as long as I make enough noise about it.
