I don't have access to the DIN 6388 specification, so my knowledge of these uncommon collets is not satisfactory or complete.
"EOC", "OZ", and "SYOZ" are related acronyms/product-designations, and all apparently refer to some flavor or other of DIN 6388 collets (some of which are specified in one of the following series: OZ6,8,10,12,16,20,25,32,40,50).
Elements from my Grizzly T10068 collet set are inscribed as follows:
R8 chuck: "R8 X EOC25"
chuck closing nut: "Shin-Yang EOC25 Clamping Nut"
Collet: "3/8 0850 SYIC" (I think the "0850" may be a production-machine ID (or perhaps batch ID) - some collets share a number, some have a unique number).
My EOC25 collets are 52mm long, and the lip diameter is 35mm, consistent with DIN 6388 (apparently).
see: http://www.techniksusa.com/metal/cnadin.htm
I imagine that all of the Grizzly products I mentioned previously are from the EOC25 series: hence they would not be compatible with your OZ38 collet.

I'd love to know more: Machinery's Handbook gets mighty thin where collet systems are concerned.
