I think the first one deserves a Simply for having a mill big enough to use one.
Full of ideas, but slow to produce parts

Saturday, the wife and I went to this event that they do every year called the M-15 garage sale. It's a stretch of highway in Michigan where people that live on or near this highway have a garage sale. Along the route there are church rummage sales, a VFW or American Legion hall had a flea market, etc. Anyway, one of the stops we made was a flea market at a church and there was a guy selling off all sorts of general tooling. I spotted a drill index, kinda rusty and nasty looking, opened it up and it was full except for the tiniest one. He said they needed sharpening and that he was too lazy to do it. I got it for $5. Tonite I dug out the drill doctor, had to watch a couple videos on how to use it since I haven't touched it in a few years, and got them all nice and sharp.

I've been wanting some broaches for a long time, and I finally bit the bullet and got some. Seller is discount_machine, on eBay. It pictured a plain wooden box, but the one that showed up is this fancy case as shown:
Inside is nice, too: And after just a few minutes with the arbor press, this is the result: Cutters are very sharp, and all the parts appear very well made. 1/2" bushing was a nice slip fit in the 1/2" bore of the part. Since the bushing and shim are both shorter than the part, I ran it through from both ends. I am pleased with this purchase, and wish I had gotten it years ago.
