Woah! I should have kept searching. That is one heck of a deal!  It cost me just over double that from the UK.

Oh well, too late now for me. Still beats the $130 per bearing from the major suppliers in the USA.  

I guess it depends on which manufacturing facility they come from. I think SKF bearings are made in several different countries.

Yea, I'm thinking of ordering those from Ireland so I have sealed bearings. Too bad I was so dumb in ordering non-sealed bearings. Oh well, live and learn.

Sell them to someone with a mini-mill that needs new bearings.  

I also ordered a bearing puller / installer set for the mini-lathe too. Since I can't get into my shop for awhile to access my big lathe and shop press, at least I will be able to work on the mini-lathe bearings & gears upstairs to keep me occupied in the mean time.  

(Micro-Mark tools if anyone is interested.)

Thanks for the tip. I ordered the bearing puller also. They're on closeout sale now so it was good timing.

That is what I believed too - at first. But when you actually look at their close out list, the puller set isn't in there - so it's probably the regular price, and they added in the "closeout" line as marketing BS.  

What really ticked me off though is that they wouldn't give me the 10% off code because I don't have a cell phone, and therefore no cell number for them to spam.

Did you click on the 10% off box on the main page? You get a couple of pop-ups to fill out in order to get the code via a cell phone text.

   

   

I tried putting in my home phone number but it wouldn't accept it.
Non-cell phone discrimination!  

They are already bombarding my email with ads. But if they can't hit BOTH your email and your cell phone too, I guess you aren't worthy of their 10% off.
