HF Bandsaw Dimension
#1
Does anyone have a HF 4x6 band saw that they could take a dimension for me? I need the height from the bottom edge of the base casting, not including the stand, to the highest point of the band saw when it's locked down in its lowest position.

Sorry, I forgot last night.

Anyway, the distance is roughly 17 3/8" from the bottom of the casting to the top of the belt guard, which is the highest point when it's laying down.

Thank you very much. Thumbsup

One measurement I forgot to ask for is the overall length the long way. I'm seeing if it will fit underneath the bench I got for the mini lathe. No rush.

Far too clean. Do you actually use these tools, or just collect them?

I use them when I have time. No money for just collecting stuff.
Haven't touched the lathe since late October. Spent most of November caring for relatives with covid.

The last thing I did with my lathe is chuck up this shaft to cut metric threads on both ends. That was back in October & the shaft is still chucked in the lathe. I'll get to it soon. Blush
