I open the electric plate off my lathe to fix the electric and my dog cut my wires
Please can some one send me the picture off the wires.
Post pictures of your lathe and a model number. We can't tell much from that one picture you uploaded.
And please don't post your question more than once. Duplicates will get deleted.

I bought a set of them a few years ago. Very handy to have.

Made an Ebay score and added a nice Lufkin Mic to my collection. It's not NOS, but close to it and for $16, I couldn't resist. The Lufkin mics are handy to have around because they will fit into some spots that other brands won't.

Picked up some indicators and calipers in one of the FaceBook machinist groups. $50 plus shipping for all of it. One of the calipers needs either a new dial or a new cover/lens. Everything else just needs a good cleaning, so the ultrasonic cleaner will be coming back out of the cabinet.
Whatever became of Bob, our indicator guy?

Bob has actually done a series of videos, with help from Doubleboost, on Youtube. He details disassembly, cleaning and some repair of dial indicators, micrometers, vernier calipers, and even a digital caliper. Find Doubleboost's youtube channel and look for Indicator repair with Bob...

The difficult takes me a while, the impossible takes a little longer.
