Finished the paddle wheels and installed them a week or so ago. The other day we fired the boiler and spun them up. The packing gland on the engine needs some attention, but it was a cool day and the steam heat was appreciated.

With a sigh of relief the Aligator made her maiden voyage yesterday.
We used a 50 ton crane to lift it on and off the trailer. I estimated the weight at around 8000 pounds, the crane operator claims he was lifting 16,000.
