Heck, free fall from 15 feet would only be a bit over 20mph terminal velocity and ramp friction would slow it down considerably. Ed should have not trouble catching it at the bottom  Cool

take the mattress off the bed put it at the bottom of the stairs and give the sled a shove, it will softly stop when it reaches the bottom

Rotfl funny guys! I got a good laugh and I needed it after the crappy day I had at work.

Tomorrow is hopefully the day, Saturday morning at the latest. I need to work around my brother's schedule but he's quite flexible so I'm hoping for tomorrow so I have the weekend to figure out where all of the parts go. 17428
