I've been wanting a new set of squares -- I had a very cheap fixed square set and managed to misplace them when I moved. I'm pretty sure I've unpacked all my shop tool boxes, but you never know. A that looks like a nice square.

Ed, may I ask how much? I bought one from LMS many years ago. Never used the damn thing.
Full of ideas, but slow to produce parts

Not metalworking, but woodturning: Bought myself a Nova G3 chuck so I can start making stuff other than pens. Started turning my first bowl (more like a cup) out of mahogany. Man, that stuff is tough! Had to re-sharpen my tools halfway through.

PS. Sorry to the person that posted the link but I'm too lazy to go find the post so I can give you credit.  Blush

That was me, but haven't ordered one yet.  Glad to hear the positive review.

Ebay arrivals today.

Like new Starrett 269A and 269B taper gages. 39% of retail for the pair. These will be much easier to use on the lathe to roughly measure bored holes compared to squeezing some calipers in there and trying to read it upside down.   Bleh

I also got around 250 midget (needle eye) laps and their adjusting tools. (3 lbs. worth) Sizes from .032" up to .281"
$10 for the lot. I think I'm set for small laps for awhile... Big Grin
