When I did the screw for my compound I had to tweak the cutter a couple of times while cutting the acme thread.

Yup, I think that's what I'll concentrate on before I attempt my next nut.

I need to tweak the tool bit. I didn't do a very good job last time which resulted in failure number three. I know what I did wrong so I'm going to take as much time as necessary to get the tool bit right this time.

Nut number 4 in process. I took a couple of passes to make sure they didn't overlap. I'll finish it up tomorrow. I'm hoping I'm going to coin a new phrase, "The fourth time's a charm".  Smile
