Nice work Greg, is it in process or now in use? If so any pics of it on the lathe? Any particular reason for using round mat'l? Or is it just for asthetics?

Thanks for the comments, I use a special shiny lens filter to get that finish. The body was made from a piece of mystery shaft I salvaged, hence the curve on the back side. Remember it being tough when I machined it.

Very nicely done I am not sure weather to get a shaper Or a camera with a trick lens I use the boring head round shank tools in the same way John

Thanks for the encouragement. Trust me I don't get that finish all the time. I may have actually made drawings for the tool post but they'd be in DXF format if I did, wouldn't have a clue how to convert them to post.
