Not yet but I plan on working on it this weekend. I found the secret ingredient that I need to finish it while looking for some plywood scraps to reenforce a box that is being shipped to Australia.

I say you use some mosaic pins.

They're not expensive to buy, but when has that stopped anyone? Rotfl

You can make them yourself if you visit your local hobby shop and root around in the K&S precision metals display.

Ordinary epoxy can be dyed with dry pigments from an art store.

You'll want to inject the epoxy with a syringe - available at your local pharmacy. It's a non-starter to try to fill it with a stirring stick.
