Note that I provided the Conversion column. Hemingway is not responsible for these values.
It is based on exchange rates available on Google as of 07:14 am CST, February 15th, 2015.
I am sure all of these values are 'dynamic' and not etched in concrete.
Best to think of them as guidelines  ... 'etched in firm jello' if you will.

I had several kits in mind.

I agree that it could be sourced locally for less but if the shipping were reasonable then the 'one stop shop, including the plans and possibly build guidelines' might be worth the extra fees.

Those rates don't surprise me. We get hit like that shipping from the states to the northern Colonies. Then through brokerage fees on top, can't imagine what they'd be like if we didn't have free trade.

I do find the shipping costs to be a show-stopper but I also did not want to ask anyone to violate copyright restrictions.

For the retractable tool holder buy George Thomas's book- "The Model Engineers workshop manual". Page 116 onwards- plans, detailed instructions on how to make it, drawings, construction notes etc- It's all there.

Got to admit I bought the kit first then the book but it's very do - able straight from the book.

It's also a damn good read
