They tore out a rail line near here, so for a while I can get ties that are in great condition. Should out last me.

Dave, when I planted them I had great expectations of raising a forest of oak trees, but after 30 some years I can guarantee with some certainty that you cannot grow Oak Trees from Railroad Ties.
Damn shame too as I had it all planned out to retire on the money  I was going to make selling them to some sawmill. Big Grin Big Grin Rotfl
