A wee bit done today , not allot but its still progress Big Grin , Cut out and machined up the fan disc's

Hi Rob , its coming along well, looking very neat too, how shapr are the blades on your shear ? , I sharpened mine and it made a big difference, the sheet used to try to tilt over as you cut but just slices through now Smile.
The bits fit the drawings anyway Big Grin

Well I may have been wrong about the scruits, but I don't think I'm wrong about this being one of the best builds I have ever followed! Excellent work. Really pisses me off because my workshop is undergoing the refurb it has needed for 20 years and all my stuff, including my Allday forge, is crammed up against one wall. Soon I will be finished, but not soon enough. This thread makes me want to be back at it!

I feel your pain , just nearly finished moving my shop about , what a royal pain in the arse , its still not finished ,I actually said fook it and started the forge build because I was sick of moving gear around . Have you done much forging ?

Well got a bit done tonight , turned up the fan hub .
