Hi
Lads
I have been that busy with vids I keep forgetting to post pictures
I have recently been given some lathe tools
They need machining to fit my tool holders
The pictures are "grabbed" frames from a hd video
I was also given a 6 inch mag chuck
I had a back plate to modify
All this can be seen on this sundays video

if the holders are big enough I just cut a dovetail in the side of them and put in a height adjuster screw
Nice work on the holders

I have done the same thing
These ones went in to the tool holder nut not low enough for centre height

Hi John , A nice little haul there, I like that mag chuck, good to see you kept busy this afternoon , the photos look spot on for a video catch type photo too.
Good to see some normal photo posts again from you too
Cheers Mick.

Mighty small doc on stuff mounted on a mag chuck in a lathe please. Once it slides even slightly it's off balance and shortly after it's off the chuck.
I've only really felt happy using them on the cylindrical grinder where the cutting forces are very small - or should be !

The chuck will be used on the mill & rotary table
They have a B oxford spindle thread
I can picture things flying off the chuck
