I have a few mills Chester 626 that I am converting to CNC (still) ,an Aciera F3 one the one I made the flycutter for .

The DRO is now in Micks possession I traded it for his Clarckson TCG , who needs DROs LOL

Dose a canny job Big Grin and hare are a few more tools that I have made for this mill , two arbours 1 and 1 1/2 and a smaller flycutter .

Hi Rob I recall seeing the build post on MM and that is a fantastic bit of kit. Could you most some info on the orange clamps you are using to secure that "wee" block of steel?

I'm quite impressed with those toolholders Rob, and since I'm in the business of "knowing cutting tools" I can tell you they look as good if not better than many of the commercially made ones.

Myself I just can't justify making something I can buy for little money (on eBay or other seller's websites), though I applaud that level of effort! I also want to know if the finish is a grit blast or some plating (or both?)

BTW, your photography is far above"tyro" level too. What are you using for lighting?
