Help with drawing

It does leave a little to be desired, but with what I gave you, you should be able to make the rail. Can you sketch up and or scan a hand sketch describing the dimensions you are more comfortable working with?

For the most part, the actual dimensions to be cut are pretty loosely toleranced, it's just the positional relationship that is in any way critical so the accessory fits correctly, and is centered on the firearm.

Well i finally got the deminisions I was looking for. I have been playing with a new free CAD (Draft It) program and it seems to be pretty nice, I may pay to get the upgrade to pro.

Attached is the drawing I came up with, I have already made one small rail as a trial and it looks really good. I also made a type of holder for the completed rails so I can work on the bottoms.

Thanks for all yalls help.

I used Draft It for awhile and even bought the Pro version. It was OK but is lacking in a lot of areas. Instead of buying the Pro version you should download Solid Edge 2D which is free and a whole lot better than Draft It. Smiley-gen163
YMMV

Sorry Turbo, I should have posted a message about that. I created the PDFs and attached them because not everybody has Microsoft Word to open the files with. There is probably a free viewer available for viewing Word documents but PDF files can be opened no matter what computer or operating system you are using, unlike Word.

If you have an older version of Word, you need to download a compatibility package to view the .docx version.
