its been a while, Ive been busy at work and with other projects. I got new spindle bearings installed, I have to order belts, cant find them local. Put the power feed on and ran into issues with that, I posted another thread looking for help about it titled Asong AS-235 power feed??. Its pretty much back together. Im making table lock knobs and studs because I dont like the original ones, heres a couple shots of them. Turned them out of alum bar, drilled and reamed 6 3/8 holes in them, then turned down the OD to to 1 1/2" leaving "half" a hole. First pic is the drilled blank, then turned down right out of the lathe, then deburred.

Thank you Edk, I was going to just purchase some alum knobs, but at the time I didnt need anything else from MSC so I said screw it, and made these. Glad I did, I like how they turned out. As it turns out, I now need other items from MSC lol.......but Im glad I made these.....thank you again.
