Nice mod on the HF balancing tool. At least you where able to make some use out of it rather than tossing it.

Had a bunch of errands to do today, then diddled a bit with the shaper, built a new gib for the carriage as the other one had been replaced at some time, and was too thin.
Not too sore and crippled up today, as yesterday i hauled 3 pickup part loads of gravel for the drive before it freezes solid, MAN i hate shovelling GRAVEL!!
Definetly a young mans job!! Lol

I 'm a firm believer in hydraulics and diesel fuel when handling sand and gravel.

I gassed up the snow blower, checked the oil and fired it up. We're suppose to get our first shovel-able and plow-able snow of this winter. They are saying 6 inches. After the snow tapers off we are suppose to get very strong winds and the temperature is suppose to plummet. I hate winter.

Agreed Ed, we just got 4-5 inches of wet slippery greasy snow, was headed to my sons this morning to help him do some wiring, but turned around and came back, as it was tricky driving-nothing plowed yet,- plus a tractor trailer load of steel stuck on the highway.
Low tonight down to almost 0F which will makes things crusty with much better traction.

They've upped the total snow fall from this storm to 6 - 9 inches now. Oh joy!
