Not wishing to hijack your thread John, but did you ever post a thread about the Riser for the column? I have a Warco variant that I'd be keen to raise maybe 75 - 100mm.

Thanks John. does that mean the root (bottom) of the thread is way narrower than the crest (top)?

The thread is not deep enough so the top will be to narrow in the groove The root will be the width of the tool tip I am going to do it again (i will try and do a bit of video) John

Are the root and the crest not supposed to be the same minus the required clearances?
