Ed the first one that I tried to enlarge had the " Updated drawing and added PDF and DWG files. It's just the stupid windows picture viewer, I'm sure.
Anyway I put some dowel pins mic'd @.3745 into one of my toolholders and then meausured the distance between them with my Mitutoyo 293-705 electronic mic via my telescoping guage.
The telescopic guage is possibly the weak link in the chain but they have always worked well for me for bores under 2".
I got .7441" if we consider the .0015 x 2 difference between our "guage pins I would have .7411 compared to your .7395 =1.6
thou. difference. So given that our QCTP and holders aren't from the same source I think the difference lies in the lower quality of mine, or acceptable tolerance.
All this blather to say I'm happy with what I've got and thank you for the chance to do the measuring thing with the dowel pins so I can go ahead and make some toolholders!
