Not cheap but it's a one-time purchase so I don't mind the cost so much.

Ok, I looked at the link (which will be haunting me on just about every site I go to since I looked at it) and after looking it all over, I'm with Pete. What is it?

It's a quill stop that one can slide on the screw rather than having to turn it for adjustments, especially sizeable adjustments.  One slides the stop by pushing in the button then moving it in the desired direction.

Oooooooooh.

RE: Latest Delivery - PixMan - 05-27-2016

The only down side to the quick adjust quill stops is that if the half nut is not in good shape it could slip as you press against it. I've never heard a lot of complaints about that happening with the US made ones.

This is over the last few days.

First is a machinist level from ebay. Got it for $35, they listed it under woodworking and plumb bobs! It's sitting on the ways of my lathe.

Next are the bins from Surplus Shed. They come in boxes of 48. One's missing in this box, I pulled it to see if something would fit and that something is still in it.

And lastly, for all you electronics enthusiasts... This is a Tektornix TM503 mainframe with a power supply, frequency counter and a function generator. It came with two freq counters but one is going to be a parts donor. The function generator I got in a separate auction, also listed in the wrong category, and it is like new and in fairly good cal.

That's it!

Got a small Wilton vise today. I plan on mounting it to some sort of plate that I can clamp down to the workbench and then put it back on the shelf when I'm done using it.

That's a good idea. I've been trying to figure out what to do with mine when I take that bench down.

That's exactly the plan for the cheap Home Depot vise I got for my welding table.  I didn't want a nice vise which I'd feel bad about passing welding current through. Yikes
