Transwave 10Hp , now I just have to decided where to put it ,I might knock up a wee bracket and wall mount it .

Sweet! I'd recommend using vibration isolators if you're mounting it on the framing of your home. The noise will transmit to the whole house will otherwise.
I have mine sitting on a tire on a concrete floor downstairs, and I can still hear it upstairs.

I have no idea where mine is located. I just have 3 phase power coming out of the wall. No noise either

Darren!I wouldn't mount it on the structure at all. Mine is on a shelf attached to a wall, on vibration isolators and sitting on several inches of foam and is still annoyingly loud. I think the only way to quiet it down to an acceptable level, short of replacing it with a VFD, is to enclose it in a soundproof box.

I'd worry about overheating it, unless you fan-cooled it, and had the intake & exhaust go through a serpentine baffle.

I had an unexpected early arrival today, superbly packaged and protected in four layers of protection; thank you Henry. I like opening boxes, and as photos are encouraged here, I'll share the experience with the first four pictures. The fifth photo is after I cleaned off the packing grease, which doesn't appear much different.
Lately I've been lucky in finding desirable tooling in exceptionally fine condition, and that includes this 8" Tom Senior Rotary Table.
Please feel free to post a "you suck" reply, I think I'm getting to like it.
