Cast iron mig on bellhousing. - aametalmaster - 06-01-2012 I had this brought to me and 2 of the holes were damaged. Mostly cosmetic but he wanted them fixed. I punched some copper plate on the ironworker 1/2" and tapped them into the holes. Then a little preheat and some vertical up with the mig wire and argon gas. A little grinding and done. Regular NI rod is 30-50 bucks a pound so the price is about the same plus there is no waste as in little rod stubs. And you can do more with it easier so its really cheaper.
