LC340A Lathe - Aussie53 - 02-11-2022 [attachment=17696]Hi all, Les here from Aus, Newbie. I have a question that is driving me crazy, I can't believe I'm the only one around that has the lathe as pictured. My problem is I can't read the decal on the left of the head stock which gives me the gear settings for the threading operations of the machine. I have contacted various suppliers on the internet and all come back with nothing or the machine is too old for support, 38 years old. The reason I can't read it anymore is that I have just recently got the lathe back from my son and whilst he kept the machine clean the writing has all but been erased. If anyone out there has a photo of this decal or, indeed a digital copy of the manual, I would be most grateful. Regards, Les RE: LC340A Lathe - Mayhem - 02-11-2022 Try http://lathes.co.uk/ Otherwise, I seen these for sale on various sites. I'd contact some and say that you need to ensure that the threads it can do meet your needs, and ask them for some high res pictures of that plate. I saw several but at low res. Good luck!
