I just got an email from my buddy that I used to work with. The subject line was one word. "Kids..."

These days he gets all the jobs they used to dump on me after an apprentice had a learning experience.    Rotfl

Reminds me of repair jobs I did in the Navy after a Machinist Mate or Boiler Tech tried to play Machinery Repairman.

I'd find an appropriate nut, plug weld it over the broken bolt, then spin it out. The heat transfer should break the thread bond.
