metal dragon - abatin6 - 07-26-2018 I could be in the wrong forum here, but. I'm looking to build a dragon neck and head on a cast iron chiminea. Looking for some 6, or 4 ga steel wire for the form. I can hand cut the scales out of wood stove pipe metal. I have a 120V flux core welder. I tried it on a cast iron pan, seems to work fine. Having trouble finding the wire. Thanks! RE: metal dragon - Vinny - 07-26-2018 Welcome to the forum!!! RE: metal dragon - ScrapMetal - 07-26-2018 McMaster Carr has up to about 5 ga "spring steel" wire in 50 ft coils - McMaster - music wire I'm not sure if that would fit what you are looking for though. FWIW -Ron RE: metal dragon - Highpower - 07-26-2018 Or maybe this? https://www.mscdirect.com/product/details/31982911 to the forum. |
