Need some CNC work done - pepi - 04-23-2018

Hello,

First, I am not looking for a freebee will pay for materials and time. The project needs to be made from polished, chrome like SS.

I need 8 pieces 12x3, rounded at 2 corners with 2 holes. I have a template that is the exact size with holes located.

Or point me in a direction that I may find a mechanist that would do the job. Pretty sure a plasma cutter is the way to go.

Thanks for reading.

Regards,

Greg

It won't be cheap I'm sure but maybe try giving Keith Fenner a call? http://turnwrightmachineworks.com/

The man is a wizard with a CNC plasma table. I have some of his work and had to file the corners to remove the sharp edges because his machine cuts so cleanly.

Thank you Willie.

I'll see what i can find out .....I started thinking more on this yesterday because the material will not be more that .030. That said maybe water jet is a better way to go ?

Anyway this will be a good starting point, thanks again.

If it's that thin, look for a laser cutting vendor.

I did an art railing in 3/16" stainless last year, and learned a lot about the various processes.

Posting a picture of the part, it is at the bottom of the mudflap, now seeking some one to laser cut them...
