Colchester Bantam 1600 Mk1 lathe - Oil - RandaB - 02-02-2017 Hello, A bit of a boring question, but can anybody recommend Headstock & Gearbox oil for this lathe? Shell Tellus 27 is recommended in the manual but no longer available. Generally, I contact the local lubrication company and ask the sales rep if they can recommend something equivalent to the original spec. I've always been able to find something suitable this way.
