Spectre1995's Remington Model 6 - spectre1995 - 01-07-2016 Hello everyone, I'm new here and thought I might share a little project I've been working on over the past couple months. I noticed the names of a few of you here are also members of the Weapons Guild, to which I am also a member, so you probably have seen this all already. While the project is nearly finished, there is still some work that has to be done to it. It's a scratch made, bolt together version of the Remington Model 6. I don't have access to a mill and lathe, so a majority of this project was made using a drill press, an angle grinder, a hacksaw, and hand files. Eventually I want to get a decent mill, but right now I need a better welder. RE: Spectre1995's Remington Model 6 - Highpower - 01-07-2016 Welcome to the forum spectre. That certainly shows some determination on your part using minimal tooling. What material did you use for your build? RE: Spectre1995's Remington Model 6 - spectre1995 - 01-07-2016 The mid-section and internals are all 4140, but the side plates are 1018. RE: Spectre1995's Remington Model 6 - EdK - 01-07-2016 Nice work spectre. Oh and to the forum. Ed |
