Ok give me a couple days and I'll get a block in the mail to you. PM me your Address sometime in the next couple of days,

It machines nice but you will probably want to use carbide on it.

Pixman can probably give you all the machining stuff the material is a Nickel, Aluminum, Bronze.

found this hiding in the furnace today, it measures 1.6 X 1.6 X 2.1 you think it will work, the material came from two shifter forks out of an old Kerney Trecker Horizontal  Mill so it should be plenty tough.

I faced it off on the side the gate was on with a small 5 insert face mill.

I think that would work perfectly Dallen. I really appreciate the offer, very kind of you to make the effort.

Thank

Dallen, I misread your previous post and didn't realize you fired up the stove to melt and pour that block. I thought is was cut from some existing part. That's pretty cool in my books that you would go to that effort to help a person you didn't know. This is a great group of people to be associated with. I'll be sure to pay the favour forward Dallen.

Cheers

there was a person on here that helped me when my mill motor crapped out and said to just pay it forward when I could, so its not very often that I get to actually pay it forward in return.

But this is one of those times that I can,

now all I need is something a little more accurate then Kamloops British Columbia, Canada to post it too.
