Buck Versatapper - the penguin - 08-08-2014

I was given a complete Buck Versatapper, tapping attachment for a drill press. I have a copy of a manual, for a slightly different model, but the head appears to be a 4:1 reduction (DP spindle:tap speed). I have a Grizzly manual DP tapper, that I've been using for small taps and I have the big Jet drill press that has a built it in tapping head. I should be giving this a run this weekend.

That can be a very dangerous piece of equipment in the wrong hands. Think global annihilation. Send it to me postage paid and I'll check it out for 5 to 10 years and let you know if its safe to use. Rotfl
