oil can mod - krv3000 - 03-09-2012 hi this is my tip for stoping you oil can from faling over you will need a old pant tin lid cleen off the pant of the botom of the oil can and tin it cleen the tin lid off and place it on sum wood up sid dawn put the oil can in the midel of the lid and heet up and solder the lid to the botom of the can right pics RE: oil can mod - DaveH - 03-11-2012 Nice one Bob, I luv the colour mate DaveH RE: oil can mod - ETC57 - 03-11-2012 Great idea Bob, Now what's funny about that is for the last 10 or so years I've had two of those small oil cans one with a factory base similar yours and one with out. so for ten + years I have cussed the one with out and not come up with a solution even though I was looking at it all the time!!
