RE: Bridgeport Rebuild - Mayhem - 01-14-2017 John, Looking at your pictures, the quill skirt is missing from your head. In your 5th picture above, you will see a rectangular recess with a threaded hole in the 10 o'clock position. This is one of the two positions into which the tabs on the quill skirt attach. You can see the quill skirt in the info that I sent you and also in my Kondia rebuild thread. Post 181 is what you are looking for. RE: Bridgeport Rebuild - Old Minger - 06-01-2017 Haven't posted anything for a while but all work on the Bridgeport stopped as I was waiting for warming weather. Well now that it's here I've started work on the head and should be ready to paint in a week or so. Unfortunately I've also started our backyard renovation so it might be a while yet before the spray gun comes out. I'm also looking for so levelling feet for the Bridgeport can anyone recommend a good source. Thanks John [attachment=14521] RE: Bridgeport Rebuild - Old Minger - 08-30-2018 Finished the yard! Back on the Bridgeport, lots to report as progress has been made. Meantime I'm in the market for a 2 axis DRO and recommendations on brands and optical vs magnetic encoders. Thanks John |
