RE: Bridgeport Rebuild - Old Minger - 01-10-2017 Got any pictures of the quick adjust set up lads? Sounds like something I should look? Cheers John RE: Bridgeport Rebuild - wawoodman - 01-10-2017 Here's one style. There are others. http://www.mscdirect.com/product/details/09506114 RE: Bridgeport Rebuild - f350ca - 01-10-2017 Mike posted the same style I got, KBC tools has them in the latest flier. RE: Bridgeport Rebuild - Old Minger - 01-10-2017 Is this something I should consider getting? I assume you just release and slide to where you want it, saving time by not having to spin the nut up and down. RE: Bridgeport Rebuild - f350ca - 01-11-2017 I think it will be worth it, haven't had it too long. The fine thread nuts probably haven't been used more than 3 or 4 times in all the years I've had the mill, it wasn't worth the effort. If I needed equal chamfers say, it was easier to use the knee. RE: Bridgeport Rebuild - awemawson - 01-11-2017 Yes that's identical to the one I've had for ages and wouldn't be without. Very well worth fitting in my view. RE: Bridgeport Rebuild - EdK - 01-11-2017 Definitely worth it. I haven't installed mine yet but spinning the nuts gets old real quick. Ed RE: Bridgeport Rebuild - Old Minger - 01-14-2017 Thought I'd post a very quick update as there is not much happening on the forum. So during the dissemble I spent several minutes trying to find the quill skirt that I'm supposed to remove. I know what I looks like from the pictures but I just can't seem to find it, it's now obvious that it doesn't have one so I'm feeling a little on the stupid side. Also I know I'm getting ahead of myself here but I'm starting to think about the reassembly, in particular the motor. The current motor is a 660 volt 3 phase unit so I don't think it will plug into my wall outlet Do you think this is worth trying to sell on? And if so any suggestions where to advertise it outside of the obvious, eBay etc. Cheers John (nice but dim) RE: Bridgeport Rebuild - ieezitin - 01-14-2017 John Is your drift you want to move (re-sell get rid of) this full size machine?
