Ed RE: Micrometer types - Mayhem - 05-14-2013 Well done Bill - I know you have been chasing one for some time. RE: Micrometer types - Bill Gruby - 05-14-2013 Sorry, my bad, the humor went right over my head. Darren I've been a day late and a dollar short on no less than 9 of these mikes in the last 25 years. They were always out of my price range. I saw one at an auction go for 5,300 dollars. No typo there. With S&H this one went for $100.56. I'm still on the pink cloud. "Billy G" RE: Micrometer types - Mayhem - 05-14-2013 Wow - you got an investment there Bill RE: Micrometer types - stevec - 05-14-2013 Great find Bill, sorry about the feeble attempt at low humour. RE: Micrometer types - DaveH - 05-15-2013 Billy, I'm glad you finally got your hands on one DaveH RE: Micrometer types - Bill Gruby - 05-16-2013 It actually seems strange that after 25 years of searching, bidding and losing that this quest is over. Kind of like having a void in your life. Guess I'll have to find something else to look for. "Billy G" RE: Micrometer types - EdK - 03-19-2014 A new tool I added to the collection. Does it not have the nicest feel of any micrometer you've ever used? That's what I think of mine! |
